My name is Asma, I live in Oxford, UK. I’m a mother to an active toddler; recently completed my Phd, and also have a passion for stylish modest clothing!
There has been a surge in designers and brands providing modest, yet stylish clothing. However, my friends bemoaned the fact that few places provide enough variety in modest, stylish and affordable clothing. So Emellie Clothing Boutique was born!
As an online boutique, Emellie provides variety in styles/colours and designs; it stocks a diversity of brands/labels and designers, while maintaining the ethos of affordable, modest and stylish clothing.
It was always my intention to sell fair trade and eco-friendly brands alongside mainstream labels, in the hope that people will become more aware of eco-friendly and fair-trade fashion. So do check out the Nomads, Namaste and Braintree clothing!
The naming of my boutique was fairly easy; it is the plural of my daughter’s name (Amel – which is the Arabic for hope and aspiration). Emellie means to aspire/to hope, and I hope that at this boutique you will find clothing that you aspire to have…
